The latest Rogue goes from zero to 60 mph in 8.2 seconds, which is average in the class. The CVT is surprisingly quick and you never really feel the typical CVT sluggishness when you step hard on the gas.
The engine is a peppy unit and picks up the pace well but doesn't deliver an engaging drive. The redesign last year has improved the driving dynamics and ride quality of the Rogue as compared to the predecessors. The top-range Platinum adds luxury amenities like quilted leather upholstery, heated rear seats, a 9-inch touch screen, a 10-speaker Bose premium stereo, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless device charging, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, traffic sign recognition, and navigation-linked ProPilot Assist. Additional driver assistance features include a surround-view parking camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and ProPilot Assist. The more popular Rogue SV adds more convenience and safety features such as heated outside mirrors, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a six-speaker stereo, two rear USB ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, and remote start. Nissan hasn’t yet announced the release date for the 2022 Rogue but we expect it to hit the showrooms in the last quarter of 2021. Pricing for the new Rogue begins from $25,850 for the base S with FWD and ranges up to $35,530 for the new top-of-the-line Platinum trim. The 2022 Rogue will be available in four trim levels S, SV, SL, and Platinum. Nissan Rogue will essentially be the same for 2022, hence, we aren’t expecting any changes in the trim levels or structure for that matter.
